Get to know us :)

With the recent drama revolving around Emily Oberg & her label "Sporty & Rich", we think it's important that you get to know who is behind Leelo Active.

SEAN

Age: 25

Ethnicity: British/Indian (Born in Australia)

Favourite food: Poke Bowls & Pizza

Hobbies: Fishing, surfing, camping, fitness, drinking wine :D

Personality: I'm pretty laid back for the most part, however at times I can be a bit of a perfectionist. I have a "No bullshit" approach to life and question a lot of things. I am a "doer" not a "sayer" and if I'm going to do something I will pour my heart & soul into it. I am a firm believer of "The Law of attraction" and "Karma". I don't do drugs and I take my health & wellbeing very seriously. I am very open minded & always try to see things from different perspectives.

I grew up in a coastal suburb called Coogee. My Mum is a phlebotomist & my Dad is a medical scientist. I graduated high school at Emmanuel Catholic College & went on to study construction management & economics at Curtin University. In 2014 I began working as a Shipping Agent for Monson Agencies in Fremantle. In 2018 I moved to London to model for Nevs. I've modelled for Nike, Puma, ASOS and a heap of other brands. During 2018 I spent a lot of time travelling & meeting new people from around the world. I love networking and I will talk to just about anyone about anything! A lot of people ask me how I became friends with Jlo and that's pretty much my answer. I was able to converse with her just like anyone else I've met. I love to talk to people about their successes and failures in life, I think just about everyone enjoys telling their story, no matter how successful they are. I often refer to moments in my life as riding waves. There's always going to be highs & lows and you need to learn to be happy whether you're at the top of a wave, or at the bottom. I won't hide the fact that I have lived a very priveleged life and I am very lucky for that. I think that with privilege comes responsibility and I will continue to work hard throughout life, so that I can give back to those in need and everyone that has supported me.

BETH

Age: 25

Ethnicity: British

Favourite food: I always have to have something savoury & then sweet after. My favourite food would have to be either pizza or pasta, followed by some sort of chocolate dessert. Im also a vegetarian.

Hobbies: Boxing, camping, beach walks/swims, learning guitar, I love a good picnic with some friends and a cheeky wine.

Personality: I'm a Sagittarius, so naturally I'm a bit of a wild child. Im always up for an adventure, and absolutely love meeting new people and trying new things. Ive always been pretty strong willed, and usually if I set my mind on something, there's very little that's going to be able to change it. I've always been one to speak my mind, however in recent times I've learnt that sometimes its best to keep my thoughts to myself haha! Im a very optimistic person, and find myself always looking for the good in everything, whether that's in people or just life in general. I definitely come off quite reserved and am known for that "resting bitch face", but once you get to know me, you will very quickly realise this is defintey not me at all.

A bit about me: I was born in Scotland as my dad was working in Aberdeen at the time. All my extended family still live in the UK, so I just have my mum, dad and two brothers living with me in Australia. I got pneumonia as a baby, so my parents decided to move elsewhere. It was then that my dad got offered a job in Australia, and that's when we made the move over here, so I haven't known a life other than growing up here in Perth! As a kid I loved watching the TV drama series "Neighbours". I was adamant that I would be on there one day, so I started taking drama classes in primary school. I then went on to John Curtin College of the Arts (high school) for a scholarship in the drama program. In year 12 I started working casually at the gym my mum worked at a couple of days a week after school. It was then that I found a love for health & fitness. My mum has worked as a personal trainer my whole life and my older brother is an exercise physiologist, so naturally it was bound to happen! Ive worked quite a few jobs since leaving highschool! I was first a membership consultant, then worked in real estate as an assistant property manager & then property manager for a short while, then I worked in retail at Zara and became a visual merchandiser. After that, I moved to London with Sean and lived there for 6 months, this was where the idea of Leelo was born. Whilst living in London, Sean was doing a bit of modelling and we were both travelling. I liked to think of my self as his personal assistant during this time, as I went to all of his castings, and he even taught me how to cut his hair so I could do it before each casting/photoshoot! Whilst living in London we also did a bit of travelling. I got to meet my extended family in Middlesborough, and also went to Italy, Spain & Greece. Since moving back to Perth and starting up Leelo, Ive also taken on another job as a membership consultant at a gym in Bentley.

I suffer from eczema breakouts, but usually this happens when I'm not staying on top of my health! I found out I had PCOS when I was 16, so since then I have been pretty conscious about what im putting into my body. This in turn managed to help my eczema A LOT! After all, health comes from the inside out. What you eat is what you are!

RECAP

Beth & I believe it's important that you know who is behind the brands you choose to support. It's always worth doing a bit of research to see who you are supporting. There are a lot of brands out there that are built on dirty money (yes even in Perth) I'd love to call them out, but that probably wouldn't be the smartest decision lol! We will continue to spread positivity throughout our brand & carry out our business with integrity.

Once again, thank you for all your support! We can't wait to continue growing our little brand.

Sean & Beth x
